Consider/Approve General Student Activity and Athletic Funds Budgets for the Individual Schools |

Background Information : Presented for the Board’s approval are the respective General Student Activity and Athletic Funds budgets of the individual schools. TCA §49-1-110(a)(10) requires individual school budgets and provides, “the board of education…shall provide…reasonable regulations, standards, procedures and an accounting manual covering the various phases of student body activity funds and other internal school funds accounting, including…the preparation of a student body activity fund budget….” Staff Recommendation: The budgets presented comply with Tennessee laws, rules, and regulations; therefore, I recommend approval of the General Student Activity and Athletic Funds budgets as presented for the respective individual schools. |
